Logan Airport is located just three miles from downtown Boston and is constantly busy with international and domestic flights. The airport was built on a man-made artificial platform. Renting a car and driving into the city from the airport is not recommended. Instead, one can take a cab, which costs around $10-20 dollars. It should take around twenty minutes or so, but there can be some traffic through the Callahan tunnels. Another option is to take a free shuttle from the airport to the subway between the hours of 5:30am and 1am when the subway is running. Just as fast, and more amusing, is the water shuttle, which connects you with the buses at Rowe's Wharf, the entrance to north Boston. |
